My lovely friend Moones took these photos of me for her wedding dress series…I am sure it is the first and last time I will ever be in a dress like this :) We took them in town, on the bus, in the bazaar, in the yard….

I left Mysore about a week ago. My plan is return there in some months and get an apartment and settle in a little bit.
In the meantime I am in Sri Lanka to change my visa over to a student visa and hang out on the beach, go to vipassana, and back to India to stay at an ashram.
These are some “left over” photos from Mysore :)

oh, the flowy pants…its a skirt! passed onto me by a friend (i think she bought it in London?) this is of course no help at all!
as for the travel advise??? use your instincts, be open, try not to worry about your vehicle too much but also tell her that you love her for taking you to exciting places. if you pick-up hippies…they are generally dirty hahaha, but make up for it in their adventurous spirit. also, be cautious of bladder infections ;)
all the best and a million namastes, christine
life in general has taken over. I will make some proper updates when I get to Sri Lanka and have nothing to do except hang out on the beach and wait for my Indian visa to be renewed :)
Kitties that love silky tags…they have my heart :)
“ONE DAY, ONE VOICE is our ethos. March 12th 2011 saw our 2nd annual event, it was led by a group of young Odanadi residents from the entrance gates of the iconic Mysore Palace – many of whom are survivors of slavery, domestic abuse and forced prostitution. Through the common language of yoga, 3,000 people around the world rolled out their mats in homes, beaches and mountaintops on the same day, in support of Odanadi’s work.”

Ashly & Sarah, looking fabulous :)

Umm, I’m sorry but I really can’t help. I owned the same shoes for over 10 years until they fell apart on me in the Grand Canyon…and I bought them in Switzerland.
Best of luck
Ps. Hiking boots are a very unromantic gift ;)
