my injury is very unimpressive. i sprained my wrist while i was supporting my back going from a shoulder-stand into bridge.
what have a taken from this journey so far??…that is a crazy hard question to answer, since i think there are opportunities to learn about yourself in every situation, no matter where you are or what you are doing. every moment is an opportunity to gain insight.
i saw a nice quote recently, it went something like this...”it’s amazing how much you need to know before you know how little you know.” so to sum it all up, i know more today than i knew yesterday, and a whole lot less than i will know tomorrow. i am figuring out what makes me happy, what gives me satisfaction, the key word being me, and not what is expected of me by others or demanded of me by society or ANY form of status quo. i am slowly but surely finding my own middle path. if i am anywhere near successful, if i learn even one percent of the truth that i am seeking then i will know that i have done my best in this lifetime.
i am learning to observe, to be conscious, to appreciate, to love, to learn, to accept the lessons that life has to offer me, to find my own path, to have patience, to have gratitude, to be independent but also accept support and love from others. i am learning to live.
